After its founding in 1962, “Hotwork” provided world leading combustion technology for industrial processes using furnaces, kilns, incinerators, ovens, and process heaters.  In 2012, Bloom Engineering Company, Inc., and Hotwork Combustion Technology (HCT) became sister companies under Sterling Industries.   In 2020 ownership of the HCT brand and all designs were transferred to Bloom Engineering.

The Bloom Engineering group of companies is committed to providing support to established HCT customers.  This support will include tuning services and genuine spare parts for existing HCT products.  If spares are no longer being offered for specific legacy HCT equipment, Bloom Engineering will try to identify a suitable replacement from its current product line.  Spare parts produced by Bloom Engineering for existing HCT burners will be newly manufactured using the original designs and made to the high level of quality for which Bloom Engineering has been known for, since its founding in 1934.  Please do not settle for unlicensed substitutes!

In addition to spares for existing HCT equipment, Bloom Engineering will also be offering select HCT designs for sale under the Bloom name.  These designs will include the Hotwork Recuperative Burner (HRB), High Velocity Burner (HV), and Glass Tank Burner (GT).
