Weld Shape^© Phosbond Refractory Insulation Pipe

Bloom’s Ka-Weld Weld Shape refractory pipe insulation provides either 180° (half) or 360° (full) pipe coverage using a single shape.

Refractory Material Weld Shape’s factory cured phosbond refractory provides high strength, slag resistance and excellent thermal stability.
Typical Applications Weld Shape’s 180° design is frequently applied to outside skids in steel reheat furnaces. Crossovers in these furnaces often use two pieces of Weld Shape to achieve 360° coverage.
Features All welding is done from the sides, allowing easy installation, even with product in the furnace. Heavy gauge weld bars ensure secure installation. Because Weld Shape is factory cured, no dry-out cycle is required when the furnace is returned to service.
Product Code When ordering, use product code: 502-XXX-052-060. The XXX represents pipe outside diameter to the nearest ⅛ inch, e.g., -065 represents an O.D. of 6⅝ inches.
