Ka-Weld© Replacement of Cast-In-Place Insulation
Many rolling mill operators have found that it is difficult, if not impossible, to repair missing sections of
cast-in-place insulation on their reheat furnace skid and walking beam structures.
Bulky molds, set-up times, and long furnace dry-outs put the pinch on “short” term furnace outages.
Ka-Weld preformed, precured refractory shapes are the answer for many production oriented managers and masonry superintendents.
The six (6) inch long Ka-Weld shapes are readily adaptable to facilitate small and large repair areas. Since Ka-Weld is precured, no dry-out is required.
